Law is a system of rules which are created and are enforceable by social or governmental institutions to manage behavior, with its exact definition a matter of longstanding debate. State-enforced laws can be made by a gaggle legislature or by a single legislator, resulting in statutes; by the executive through decrees and regulations; or established by judges via precedent, normally in frequent law jurisdictions. Private people could create legally binding contracts, including arbitration agreements that undertake alternative ways of resolving disputes to standard courtroom litigation. The creation of legal guidelines themselves could also be influenced by a structure, written or tacit, and the rights encoded therein.
